The Challenge

A Purpose-Led Roadshow to Build Connection and Drive Mental Fitness Awareness.

KLPR partnered with Gotcha4Life (G4L), a leading Australian not-for-profit foundation committed to zero suicides, to deliver the communications strategy for the ‘Mateship Miles’ Roadshow, a five-day national initiative designed to raise funds, drive awareness, and spread the message of men’s mental fitness across Australia.

The brief was ambitious: attract new philanthropic partnerships, inspire donations, and encourage community participation. To meet this, KLPR developed a high-impact PR campaign that transformed the roadshow into a nationwide media moment.

Our strategy focused on:

  • Activating corporate and philanthropic partners to extend reach.
  • Energising community engagement across regional and metro areas.
  • Securing a major media partnership with Nine Network, driving coverage across TV, radio, print, and digital.

By uniting corporate partners, local communities, and national media under one powerful message of connection and prevention, KLPR helped Gotcha4Life amplify its mission and strengthen its position as a national leader in mental fitness.

The Outcome

National Coverage, Real Impact, and Lasting Change.

The campaign achieved:

  • 2,300+ media stories across national, regional, and local outlets in just five days.
  • $90,000+ raised to support critical mental health programs and initiatives.
  • Launch of multiple Gotcha4Life community workshops in regional towns.
  • Strengthened media relationships and long-term brand visibility for G4L.
  • Tangible momentum for future philanthropic giving and partner engagement.

The ‘Mateship Miles’ campaign firmly positioned Gotcha4Life as a driving force for mental fitness in Australia, demonstrating the power of purpose-led storytelling to inspire community action and measurable results.
